    VT vs Seton Hall

Don't see a thread so I'll start one.

CJ gets his first start and he is very aggressive to the hoop on two straight early possessions.

This is not a criticism... just saying that after this game is over...there should be no criticisms of Raines, Barksdale or any post about their posts because they are barely touching the ball... and can only do so on offense if they get offensive rebounds. Of course, Barksdale just got a pass for a score. But with Smith and Raines gunning, the posts are not going to get touches. So barring what happens in the game, Raines and such should not be criticism for "only scoring" x-number of points.

I wish we passed ahead against the trap and not dribbled slowly up. Move the ball up quickly. And now comes the poor team defense...

It really is depressing how poor the defense has been under James Johnson. It's just one open shot after another for opposing teams.

We need to play a zone, have the young guys learn how to rotate with help defense before we put them m2m with veterans. Especially with the lack of depth at PG we can't afford to play aggressive ball pressure defense or risk fouling.

They still have some learning to do on the zone rotations too.

Agreed, but I'd rather die by the deep three than by getting pounded in the paint.
