Steve Patterson the new AD at Texas

According to a source with close ties to the search committee for a new athletic director, the University of Texas will hire Steve Patterson as its next athletic director.

"He knocked the interview out of the park," a source said of Patterson.

Patterson has deep ties to the University. Patterson received a bachelor's degree from Texas as well as a law degree. And he grew up in Houston.

Patterson has executive experience at several professional franchises, including the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans and Portland Trailblazers.

interesting. a friend knows a big texas booster and was thinking that Oliver Luck was the frontrunner. seems like a dynamic situation, as usual. wonder how the AD selection will affect the coaching change that I heard about the other day (from the same friend).
It's not that you are ignorant, it's just that you know so much that isn't so.

Maybe this was why the Dud deleted his twitter account. =^)
No trees were harmed in the making of this post. However, billions of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

I am saddened that this has happened because he was always providing so much factual information.
