ACC is 3rd in the first ESPN power conference rankings of the season.

The ACC is 3rd behind the SEC and the Pac 12 in ESPN's conference power rankings out this week.

I never understood why they bury this. I find it interesting and I feel like every week I have to dig through their site to find it.

Yeah they do kind of bury it on the Stats and Info blog for some reason.

I remember Big12ers last year (mostly WVUers, I mean) floating the term "Power 4" conferences, meaning that the ACC was lumped in with the bottom feeders. But now it is the "Power 3". Funny the turnaround a year makes.

Imagine if Louisville had joined this year? Both the ACC and Big 10 numbers would be higher!

ACC is still 3rd but the B12 gained a bunch of ground mostly based on them moving up in the AP poll to replace all those losses from last weekend

Next year the AAC will really fall when they lose Louisville and Rutgers.

It is also really interesting to see the Sunbelt ranked above the MAC and Conference USA. Conference USA has really collapsed.

Wow, the Big Ten is really looking average this year. I guess they are looking forward to Maryland and Rutgers coming in to give their conference a boost.

ACC slips to 5th mostly based on poor showing in the AP poll. Computers have us as 3rd.
