That doesn't make sense. They've played home and home's with Cal, UCLA, and Oregon recently. They've got future home and homes with Nebraska, Oklahoma, UConn, and USC. They seem to want to play home and aways nationally rather than regionally.

    CONFUSED????? Fantastic isn't.
Does it feel like schools from the power conferences are trying to get ahead of the curve? I am sensing that SEC/Big 10 schools are trying to get the jump on each other as it regards either conference or NEW CONFEDERATION enforcement of out of conference scheduling. I see a day when we won't be able to schedule as many non-power conference games, if any. And schools are trying to get a head start on each other while it is easier to get the games you want rather than the games you can get later.

Edit..sorry Mercury, I didn't see your post before I posted.

Which one? PSU or SEC? If it's SEC, is it UT?

If it's SEC I'd guess Texas A&M again... Or LSU.

South Carolina or Vanderbilt or Kentucky? Tech played those schools a lot before joining the Big East.

A colleague, who is a Tennessee grad, once told me that Tennessee is forced to basically recruit nationally since the in-state talent is not as fertile as other states. The program sees playing nationally and recruiting nationally as mutually beneficial to each other.

Agree with hokieball...A&M or LSU. Has VT ever had talks with the Gators?
