Remember that the new Big East was going to include SDSU, Boise, Houston, SMU, TCU, and others. Not to mention the bball teams that were already members. That number was given by Luck. The New Big East was a complete train wreck. It's not like they were taking a bus to many places anyway.

Just sayin'...this should help defray travel costs...added to the conference payout, it's a pretty shiny penny.
Whatever makes you feel better. We aren't doing bad ourselves with conference mates nearby.

Why the rudeness? WVU did what they had to do, just as we did.

    That was nice!!!!!!

Actually I agree. They are doing what they need to. Still leave it with themselve's. They like BIG 12 then good for them. No rivals and hard travel. Enjoy!

WVU has certainly made the most of a bad situation.

I do have to question the wisdom of the B12 leadership though. It would have made a lot more sense to invite WVU and Louisville, and maybe Cincy. UCONN if you needed four. If conferences do expand into pod formats, four eastern schools would have been a nice draw for the B12.

The Texas leadership is doing what is right. For themselve'. When LHN fail's watch the Horns move. Also how long will it be before OU get's offered a BIG deal? Texas has plan's. No need in bringing in some that had other option's. WVU and TCU DID NOT! So they would sign the GOR. Again applaude WVU for staying safe. For now!

Yep. They shot themselves in the foot. When UL was lobbying to get in, the Big 12 should have taken all 3 you mention. They'll eventually need to go to 12 teams anyway, and those would have been great choices.

Texas does not want BIG 12 to last forever. Thus no expansion.

Texas will move when need is there. What happen's to WVU will be very low on the Horns thinking.
