    Eddie Campbell...

5 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 10 strikeouts in his first pro win with the Pulaski Mariners tonight.

I'm happy for Eddie, but I'm also a little depressed for VT. He was just learning how to pitch towards the end of this season.

Eddie also had 5 K's in 2 innings in his first appearance a couple weeks back, and has a 0.00 ERA so far with a ton of strikeouts. Wouldn't shock me to see him move up to A-ball for the month of August.

Edit: In his first 3 pro games, he has 10IP, 2H, 0R, 18K, 3BB. Sick.

Coming back to reality a bit - 6 earned runs in his last 3 starts. Got his first loss last night when he gave up two runs in the bottom of the 6th (Had 5 scoreless before that).

    For the season:
    1-1 record
    25.2 Innings
    40 Ks, 9 walks
    2.10 ERA

    still not bad.
