    More winners

    Winners:
    1) Wake Forest - the least desirable property that would not find a soft landing of the ACC imploded
    2) Syracuse/BC/Pitt - welcome to the AAC if ACC imploded
    3) UNC/Duke/NCSU/UVA/VT - the most "pro" ACC schools outside of Wake Forest
    4) ND - they love this arrangement as it is
    5) Miami/Clemson/Louisville - Big 12 would not be pretty for them
    6) SEC - B1G and Big 12 cannot get into their region and they do not have to grow larger
    7) Texas - they did not want any expansion

i think Texas still loses this battle at some point. i think the Big12 will have to find some eastern help for WVU and add a few TV markets and a football championship while they are at it. no rush, but i think they'll do something by ~2016.

    Candidates:
    1. Cincy (potential WVU rival, flag in B1G country)
    2. USF (FL market and recruits, quick flight over the Gulf)
    3. UConn (NY media market, UConn bball for KU)
    4. BYU (long shot, don't think west expansion is in the plans)

divisions will be determined by a draft. Texas drafts 1-5, then the other 6 become a division.

    My guess:

    Texas
    Oklahoma
    Baylor
    Ok St
    USF
    TCU

    KU
    K St
    Iowa St
    TT
    WVU
    Cincy

it ain't pretty, but if they have to expand, Texas will get the format they want. book it.

Not so sure I agree with those last two. IMO the selection committee will likely give preference to the winner of a conference championship game. If so, then tu/B12 will be forced to expand, with USF being one of the top targets. For now, that's not much of a threat to the SEC, but long-term, I can't see them being happy having to split Florida with two other conferences. SEC would have been much stronger had they picked up an NC and a VA school on the way to 16, IMO. But they're definitely happier than the B1G or B12, that's for sure!
