Would hate to lose UVA as an in-conference rivalry. I assume we'd still play every year, but it is nice to beat them and not allow them to win titles, icing on a UVA beat down cake.

Would folks rather see Tech in the SEC or Big 12?
This is the Dude of WV - which means it's fake. Every few weeks he reposts the same lie. Nobody knows why.

    It's The Dude again.

Note Brandon Patterson's comments about the Dude in this article:

With that said, and if this is true (highly unlikely) we're as good as gone to the SEC. UVa isn't going anywhere without VT, and if they do, it means we've already found other arrangements.
The 'About the Author' section says it's the Dude, unless I misunderstand. That means the article is by definition is 100% fabricated. If the Dude writes something, it's certain not to happen.

And remind those of us who don't live this stuff: The Dude is reputable or no?

HIGHLY speculative theories. I don't buy it. The SEC has no reason to push this thing one way or another, as long as the BIG does not get in front of them. Author lost credibility when he suggested the SEC would lead the way in poaching.

I'm glad to see Big10 & SEC keeping WVU informed.

There have been rumblings like this for a while, but I haven't seen anybody else talking about this being imminent. If this is the case, then how would a site about a Big12 team have "sources" in the Big 10 and SEC that nobody else has?

To requote VT stated position. VT will remain in the ACC as long as it is a viable football conference. and VT would not be the first school to leave the ACC.
