So there it is, VT not EVER leaving the ACC!

Some of Weaver's responses in that article are very disturbing. Sounds like we're staying put regardless of what happens with other ACC members.

My reading is that we are happy right now but he wouldn't speculate on "what ifs" which to me says that if there are other defections all bets are off. So we won't start the music but if someone else does we would consider looking for a dance partner.

How can adding Syr/Pitt increase TV money per school - they must have bigger audiences than the avg ACC school - is that correct?

Didn't Will or someone determine that the extra travel wouldn't eat up much of the extra revenue?

He just pragmatically advised about vt pgm

Vt facilities good not great. So hokies while 66 million that was dedicated to west end lane. That is just adequate . The new field house 25 million is cheap .

Only thing asked to bov are they committed to Increase )$$ to facilities to ensure anything that is built is great .

Also weaver statement infers that vt is just happy where we are and the dream for national championship is simply not possible at vt. Frank take that trophy space down

And let's hope if there is hypothetically only one spot available and we have first dibs - knowing fsu and clemson are next in line - we go instead of being left behind.

I know vt doesnt want to break the levy but i wonder to what extent. Have to believe the bov and admin could see the writing on the wall and break the acc levy if need be.

Don't extinguish the last vestiges of my hope!! I heard today that the Virginia and Carolina schools have stated publicly that they would NOT be the first ones out the door and START the stampede. SO.....I (with a glimmer of hope) read that to mean that once the exodus starts, it's every man for himself and all bets are off!!
