ACC Digital Network Names Virginia Tech Linebackers Among ACC’s Best

It’s a slow time of the year for college football, so when the ACC names three linebacker units to watch, people notice. Among those units to watch? Virginia Tech.

Virginia Tech returns both starters at linebacker for this season, both of whom now have a ton of starting experience. Andrew Motuapuaka, a redshirt-senior, has 29 career starts while Tremaine Edmunds, a junior, has 16 career starts. Last season, the two combined for 220 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
