The ACC announced the conference’s matchups for the the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Thursday, and Virginia Tech men’s basketball is slated to host Iowa inside Cassell Coliseum.
The meeting between the Hokies and Hawkeyes will be the first since 2012, when Tech and Iowa also met in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Iowa finished the 2016-2017 season with a 19-15 over record, going 10-8 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes lost in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament to Indiana, but advanced to the second round of the NIT.
The date, game time and network for Tech’s game vs. Iowa will be announced at a later date.
