While Virginia Tech men’s basketball searches for it’s dancing shoes, they’ll be hosting a Selection Sunday Watch Party on March 12 inside Cassell Coliseum.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the pre-selection show program will start at 5 p.m. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show will begin at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all students and fans, and the first 1,000 fans will receive free t-shirts.

After the show, there will be a special edition of Tech Talk Live, broadcast from inside Cassell. The show is expected to start roughly around 7 p.m.

Virginia Tech is expected to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007. It would be just the program’s ninth NCAA Tournament appearance.

  1. I am glad the snowy weather won’t be until Mon night so that it wont impact anyone’s ability to get to Cassell. Let’s pack the coliseum so that, if the live TV coverage rumors are true, the crowd can be raucous and proud that our guys are getting back to the big dance!
