  1. to comment on the attendance issue…yes people went home for thanksgiving. but when we lost to miami i feel like the wind got knocked out of most peoples sails since we couldnt win the coastal anymore and there was no longer a fighting chance to play Clemson again. you put all your effort into the team, reading every article, all the message board nonsense etc etc from late summer until late season. it wears on you and when you are no longer “in the running” for anything major, people tune out.

  2. Help a brother out – WHY do students want to sit in the north end zone? I haven’t been to a game since the 80s, so I don’t know what the allure is. Thanks.

    1. It’s got a very student, party-like atmosphere. They feel like it’s the best section in the stadium. It’s “the student section.”

      1. I think at least part of the reason the students were moved to the end zone was…money. Years ago,the student section was in a prime seating area on the East side. As VT football became more successful, the smart financial move was to move the students to the end zone and free up better seats for season ticket holders.

  3. As a quick point of clarification from the first minutes of this podcast, Google and Wikipedia seem to both believe that Kevin Everett is very much alive.

      1. Ah, he isn’t “late” … He was badly injured and was a paraplegic for a while, but eventually regained the ability to walk. Sorry for he confusion.
