Asking Devyn Ford to name his offers is rather pointless. Instead, asking him which schools haven’t offered him might make more sense.
The 2019 running back from North Stafford High School has 25 scholarship offers so far, most of which are coming from Power 5 programs. Among those 25 programs, a few have stood out so far to Ford when it comes to their level of pursuit — North Carolina, Penn State, Clemson and Virginia Tech.
Ford visited both Penn State and Virginia Tech this spring, and seemed to enjoy both. Ford’s visit to Virginia Tech certainly wasn’t his first, but it likely won’t be his last.
“It was pretty good, because I have a good relationship with them,” Ford said. “Coach (Justin) Fuente has always been talking and been in my ear and stuff like that. Being on campus and being around all the players, because our school has Anthony Shegog and Joey Slye there too. They’re always in my ear too.”
