Clifton, VA. — Many Class of 2018 recruits are still feeling out the recruiting process at this point, entertaining offers and talking with dozens of schools. Rasheed Walker, however, is already down to six.

Walker released a top-six last Wednesday, narrowing down his options to Ohio State, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland and Virginia Tech. At the Nike: The Opening regional outside of Washington D.C. on Sunday, Walker said that all of those schools fit the basic criteria for him.

“I have a good relationship with all of the coaches [at Virginia Tech] and I’ve been down there a few times,” Walker said. “I just get a good feeling when I get on campus. It’s pretty much the same with all the schools, I’m just waiting for the right school to click.”

Walker has had plenty of options. The Waldorf, MD native is a 4-star recruit according to Rivals, and had scholarship offers from schools like Florida, Ole Miss and South Carolina. Walker took several visits in the spring, and those visits helped him narrow down his list.
