1) We’ve heard from some of the coaches that both Farley and Hunter may play on both sides of the football. How do you think Fuente will use players’ talents on both sides going forward? Do you think this will become normal, or is it due to some depth issues at key positions? – Hokiekid1

Chris Coleman: How quickly Caleb Farley and/or Devon Hunter are used on the offensive side of the ball depends on a couple of things.  First, how quickly they develop at their primary position (cornerback for Farley, and somewhere in the secondary for Hunter).  If they don’t pick up their primary position quickly, then it will be tough to get them reps on the other side of the ball.  Second, it will depend on how the offensive players progress.  If Virginia Tech has plenty of good wide receivers and running backs, then there wouldn’t be a need to play a guy like Hunter on offense.
