Bryce Watts Commits to Virginia Tech for Class of 2017

Virginia Tech continued to fill out its Class of 2017 on Sunday with the commitment of Bryce Watts.

Watts is a 6-feet, 165-pound athlete from Toms River, NJ. He’s rated as a 3-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite rating and has 10 scholarship offers. Watts was a longtime Rutgers commit, but opened his recruitment back up ahead of his official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend.

Watts will be the 26th member of the Class of 2017. Nine of those 26 enrolled for the spring semester. Watts can play at multiple positions, but likely translates to defensive back or wide receiver.

The Hokies are hosting several recruits this weekend on official visits, including defensive end/athlete Tyjuan Garbutt and offensive lineman Mekhi Becton. Stay tuned as more commitments could follow.
