Virginia Tech Picks Up Commitment From Lecitus Smith

Lecitus Smith, a 3-star tight end from Fitzgerald, Ga., announced his commitment to Virginia Tech on Wednesday.

Smith is the second tight end, along with Drake Deluliis, to commit to Virginia Tech in the Class of 2017. Dalton Keene, who has also committed to Virginia Tech as an athlete, will likely play tight end as well.

Smith also received offers from 16 different schools, including Arkansas, Cincinnati, Louisville, N.C. State and Oklahoma State.

  1. Welcome Lecitus Smith! Congratulations on becoming a HOKIE FOR LIFE!!!

You will look back on this as being a great life’s decision and will have many fulfilling years at Virginia Tech!

    Go Hokies!!

    1. Georgia has 4 highly ranked TEs on their roster including Isaac Nauta that Shane recruited (at least per 247). He is the #1 TE in the nation and the #12 overall recruit in nation per 247. He enrolled in January. I doubt that GA would have any interest.
