A junior at the time, Sam Denmark, a speedy wide receiver prospect from South Carolina, verbally committed to Virginia Tech several weeks after National Signing Day for the 2015 Class. Whether history will repeat itself remains to be seen, but Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.) junior wideout Austin Connor was in Blacksburg this past weekend for Virginia Tech’s Junior Day recruiting event.
