Justin Robinson made a statement in March of 2014, when he turned in a big-time performance at the Inaugural Metro Elite 60. Scout.com National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Evan Daniels wrote the following about the 6’1″, 185-pound point guard’s performance (read Scout’s full write-up by clicking here)…

A 6-foot-1 point guard, Robinson plays with poise and impressed with his feel for the game. He knows how to run a team, is a quality passer, has good vision and understands the position. Robinson has good speed and an especially quick first step. On Saturday, he consistently found ways to get in the paint and pushed the pace for his camp team.

To go with his ability to handle lead guard duties, Robinson is also a good shot maker. The lefty shoots the ball well out to 23-feet and is also comfortable making mid-range pull-ups and floaters.

An ankle injury slowed Robinson some during the 2014 AAU season, which he played with the Boo Williams 17-and-under squad, but he responded with a senior season performance that earned him the 2015 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Maryland.
