Lawson a big get for this offensive class

After signing enough offensive players last year to create an entire starting lineup, Scot Loeffler and company didn’t need to sign quite as many in this year’s class. Still, they added eight new players to the mix and filled some critical needs.

The Hokies signed eight offensive players (not counting Xavier Burke and Tyrell Smith, who signed in 2014), with the potential for a ninth offensive player if Yoshua Nijman moves over from defense at some point. Despite a lower number of players than last year, there is still much to discuss.

In 2015 he signed Dwayne Lawson, and he already has a verbal from 2016 prospect Logan Byrd as well. He obviously wants to take a quarterback every year.
