Primarily a defensive tackle before this season, Norcross (GA) senior DAndre Plantin moved to offensive tackle for his senior year. The move was a success, and the 6’5″, 280-pound prospect received scholarship offers from Virginia Tech and Virginia, among others.

Plantin verbally committed to Virginia Tech on November 5. This past weekend, he was in Blacksburg on an official visit. Plantin took some time to answer some questions about the visit, his senior season and more.

When you look back on the weekend, what stands out?

PLANTIN: “Hospitality of all the staff, players, and coaches. Meeting some of the guys that are already committed and getting to bond. Also, one of the nicest campuses I’ve ever seen.”
