There is less than two weeks to go until February 5, which is National Signing Day for the class of 2014. Virginia Tech’s commitment total stands at 22 as four previous commitments in the class – QB Andrew Ford, RB Shai McKenzie, RB Marshawn Williams, and DE Vinny Mihota – began classes at Tech this week. They are enrolled and will take part in spring practice. Place-kicker Michael Santamaria and postgraduate prospects Holland Fisher and DJ Reid (two of Tech’s class of 2013 signees) are included in the list of those expected to sign on February 5.
Tech’s class has been near capacity for quite some time, but there are still targets available and some questions that may not be answered until the letters of intent are in. Let’s take a look at those storylines that remain in Virginia Tech’s class of 2014 recruiting through Signing Day.

How this weekend goes will go a long way towards answering this question. Virginia Tech hosts three top remaining uncommitted targets on official visits this weekend, including 4-star Virginia Beach defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, 3-star Virginia Beach running back Anthony Scott and 3-star Delray Beach (FL) defensive end Kevin Bronson.
