The news came out over the weekend that Holland Fisher will be attending Fork Union for the 2013 football season after failing to qualify out of high school.

Fisher attended Clover Hill during his first three seasons, and then transferred to Manchester for his senior year.  He apparently came close to qualifying, but ended up a little bit short.  As a result, he’ll follow the traditional path of guys in his shoes who signed with Virginia Tech out of high school: Fork Union.

I believe that Fork Union has the chance to be very beneficial to Fisher, who I believe needs a little bit of structure in his life.  It could also end up being the destination of a couple of other 2013 signees whose grades might be borderline – DJ Reid and Cequan Jefferson .
