Duhart To Camp At VT

Manchester (Midlothian, VA) rising senior wide receiver Jonathan Duhart has certainly done well on the recruiting front, having reached double digits in terms of college scholarship offers as the Spring Evaluation Period comes to a close.  Camp season is fast approaching, and the 6’3″, 205-pound prospect could land a few more major FBS offers with solid performances this spring and summer.

“He’s a big-time kid,” Manchester head coach Tom Hall said of Duhart, who hauled in 49 receptions for 772 yards and nine touchdowns in 2012.  “He’s a full qualifier.  A great kid.  A fantastic kid, actually.  He was named one of our captains for next season.  He has everything you look for in a player.  He’s a big, physical kid.  He catches the ball.  He does great things after catches.”

East Carolina, James Madison, Marshall, Massachusetts, Old Dominion, Richmond, Rutgers, Towson, West Virginia and William & Mary have offered so far.  Maryland and Virginia Tech top the list of schools that are interested but want to see him at camp.  According to Coach Hall, both Tech and Maryland are “high on him.”

Boston College, North Carolina, N.C. State and Wake Forest have expressed interest as well.
