Virginia Tech signed four players back in November, and two more on Wednesday, which is the first day that prospects can sign during the Spring signing period. James Johnson added a couple of guys who can play the point guard position – Malik Mueller (6-3, 200) and Devin Wilson (6-4, 185).
At this point, we expect the Robert Brown transfer to be Virginia Tech’s only attrition of the offseason. Signing Mueller and Wilson will give the Hokies a full complement of 13 scholarship players next season, at least until someone breaks their fifth metatarsal (I’m joking … or am I?).
Here’s how Tech’s roster will look next season:
C Cadarian Raines , r-Sr.
F Jarell Eddie , Sr.
F C.J. Barksdale , Jr.
G Marquis Rankin , Jr.
G Adam Smith , r-So.
C Joey van Zegeren , r-So.
F Marshall Wood , So.
G Malik Mueller , Fr.
G Devin Wilson , Fr.
G Donte Clark , Fr.
G/F Ben Emelogu , Fr.
C Maurice Kirby , Fr.
C Trevor Thompson , Fr.
