Without question, offensive line recruiting is one of the Virginia Tech’s key areas of emphasis in 2013. It’s off to a great start now, thanks to commitments this past weekend from Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) offensive tackle Parker Osterloh and Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, VA) prospect Braxton Pfaff .
“[Frank Beamer] was just really excited about me committing because I was their #1 offensive lineman and they have such a need for offensive linemen,” Pfaff wrote in an interview over Facebook. “And for me and Osterloh to commit was huge. You could tell that all the coaches were extremely excited and in such good moods because of all the players who committed.”
TechSideline.com projects the staff to take 4-5 offensive line prospects in the class. Osterloh will be an offensive tackle, while Pfaff could play tackle or play inside at guard or center.
