Phoebus (Hampton, VA) wide receiver Romond Deloatch has seen an uptick in his recruitment over the course of the past month. The 6’5″, 225-pound senior claims offers from Cincinnati, Marshall and Temple. North Carolina and Virginia Tech are among the schools showing increased interest of late, and in fact Deloatch has scheduled an official visit to Blacksburg.

“I’m going to visit Virginia Tech on the 20th,” he said.

Tech has not offered a full ride at this point. The Phantoms standout expects to learn more about his standing with the Hokies while on the visit, which is currently the only official visit he has scheduled so far.

With less than a month until Signing Day, Deloatch claims no favorite.
