For all intents and purposes, a win tonight puts Glenvar (Salem, VA) in the playoffs for the first time since 2005. Virginia Tech-bound senior Seth Dooley is certainly focused on helping the Highlanders get the win over visiting Eastern Montgomery, but there is something else on his mind as well.

“[Tonight] is senior night, too,” he said. “I’m ready to go out and win, but I’m also thinking this will be the last time playing in our stadium. I’m definitely trying to get the W.”

Glenvar is 5-4 on the year and coming off a big win over Auburn High School.

“We’ve had a couple of ups and downs,” Dooley said. “We won three straight at one time and then we lost two straight. We’ve just kept going. Making it to the playoffs would mean a lot.”
