Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA) rising senior offensive tackle Adam Taraschke was excited for Virginia Tech’s July 9 camp. The 6’6″, 265-pound prospect seized the day and performed well enough to garner an offer from the Hokies several days later.
“The one-on-ones, they were the best set of one-on-ones I’ve ever done,” Taraschke said. “I’d say I won about every one-on-one battle I did.”
Accompanied by his parents and grandmother, Taraschke will return to Blacksburg tomorrow for an unofficial visit. Is there a chance he accepts Tech’s offer?
“There is a good chance I make a decision after the visit,” answered Taraschke, who also has offers from Ohio and Old Dominion. “I’m going there to meet with the academic advisors, take a campus tour, and talk to the coaches again. I think I’m meeting with the academics people early, and I’m meeting with Frank Beamer sometime in the morning too.”
