Clover Hill’s Caleb Talks Recruiting

Joel Caleb , already well established as one of the top 2012 class prospects in the state of Virginia, has received around 20 scholarship offers including top out-of-state offers such as Florida and Ohio State. The 6-3, 210-pound junior is only in the beginning stages of figuring out where he will spend his college career, but he enters the process with good advice from his older brother.

“[Former Fork Union Prep and Oklahoma Sooners standout Brandon Caleb] just told me to listen to what everybody has to say,” Caleb said. “A lot of things are going to sound good to me. He told me to go with what I feel comfortable with.”

Recruiting certainly figures to be a big part of Caleb’s life over the course of the coming months, but it’s not his top priority right now.

“I’m just trying to make sure I hit the weight room and the other guys hit the weight room. I’m lifting hard and going hard all the time,” Caleb said. “I have to teach the younger kids.”
