Virginia Tech has added another defensive piece to its 2011 recruiting class, landing a commitment this morning from H.D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.) cornerback Adeboye Aromire. As is the case with its other 2011 defensive commits, Aromire was one of Tech’s top early targets.

“I didn’t sign any papers or anything, but I committed to Virginia Tech,” said Adeboye, who received an official scholarship offer from Tech this past January. Tech was the first FBS program to offer.

“It feels good. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I’m finished [with the recruiting process].”

The 6-0, 180-pound boundary corner prospect spoke with head coach Frank Beamer earlier today.
