Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN) junior Kris Harley attended Virginia Tech’s July camp last summer and witnessed a game in the 2008 season. Along with Warren Central junior offensive lineman/defensive lineman Kiaro Holts, the 6-2, 260-pound defensive tackle prospect plans to return to Blacksburg for a visit this Friday and Saturday.

Harley and Holts will arrive on Friday and head back home on Saturday.

“I really didn’t get to see the campus or the facilities on those other visits,” said Harley, who attends the high school alma mater of current Hokies running back Darren Evans. “Now, I want to see all they have to offer.”

Last October, Virginia Tech became the second school to extend an official scholarship offer to Harley. Iowa was the first, but the Hawkeyes and Hokies have received some serious company in recent weeks and months, including Cincinnati, Indiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Purdue, Southern Cal and Wake Forest.
