Caleb Farris ‘ senior season was a tough one, as the 6-4, 295-pound offensive lineman battled a hamstring injury throughout while Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) went winless on the year. Up next for the Virginia Tech recruit is a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for the Offense/Defense All-America Bowl, something he is certainly excited about.

“It means the world to me. There will be a lot of competition,” Farris said of being selected for the event, which will also include fellow Virginia Tech recruits Jerome Lewis and Zack McCray. Farris was also selected for the Hawaii Prep Classic in early January, but he had already committed to the O-D game.

Feeling “pretty close to 100-percent,” Farris discussed the hamstring injury that hindered his senior season. He missed the first three games of the year but played the rest of the way.
