Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL) quarterback Mark Leal had already committed to Virginia Tech prior to making his first ever visit to Blacksburg this past weekend. If the 6-1, 185-pound rising senior had any doubts about the decision he made on May 7th, they now appear to be totally alleviated following this past week’s experience.

“This sealed the deal,” Leal said. “I was already confident I’d be going to Tech, but now I have no doubt. People keep always asking if I’m going to stay committed because I decided so early, but now that I’ve been on the visit I know I made the right choice.”

Of the visit, Leal said, “Honestly, I thought it would be nice, but it was a lot better than what I pictured. The campus is nice and beautiful. The environment I liked. I finally got to sit down with the coaches in person and meet with the players. It was perfect.”
