Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) recruit Logan Thomas represented the victorious East squad in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 3rd. Coming off a senior season in which he led Brookville to an undefeated regular season and a runner-up finish in the Group AA, Division 3 state playoffs as the team’s starting quarterback, the Army game offered a glimpse into what his future at Virginia Tech.
AP Group AA Player of the Year in 2008, Thomas, who is TSL’s top ranked in-state player in the 200 class, is being recruited by Tech as a wide receiver. He hauled in two receptions including a 42-yarder in the Army Bowl game. It was the first time he had played receiver since very early on in his junior year, though he did play the position as a sophomore.
