5-11, 175-pound Tony Gregory , a speedy running back out of First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA), will head to Virginia Tech this weekend for the senior camp. This will be Gregory’s first ever visit to Blacksburg, so he is certainly looking forward to the experience.

“I’m going to Virginia Tech this weekend,” said Gregory, who is making the trip with his mother, his uncle and his coach. “I want to see the facilities and talk to Coach Newsome and Coach Beamer. I’m anxious to see the facilities because I’ve never been there before.”

Heading into his first ever visit, Gregory discussed what he likes about the Tech program right now. The Hokies offered an official scholarship earlier this spring.

“They put players in the league and build the offense and the team around key players,” Gregory said of VT. “They know how to use the talent on the team. They fit the players in the program. My coaches have told me it gets real loud up there. They have one of the loudest stadiums from what I hear.”
