Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) ATH Marcus Davis , a junior fast on the rise in the recruiting ranks, showed off his abilities at two camps this month and his performances have been well received by college coaches. The 6-5, 215-pound Davis has added four offers this month alone, raising his offer total from three to seven.

“A lot of coaches thought I looked good at Penn State,” said Davis, who participated in the Virginia Beach camp and, more recently, the Nike Camp at Penn State this month. “I think I did better at the Penn State Nike Camp. I know I ran better. I ran all my routes better and stuff like that. I caught the ball better.”

Virginia Tech was the first program to offer a scholarship (in March), with Virginia and Clemson following suit a month later. This month, Davis has picked up official offers from N.C. State, Northern Illinois, Syracuse and Tennessee. Michigan and North Carolina are among the programs showing strong interest as well.
