Dominate. This is Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) junior linebacker Lyndell Gibson ‘s motto on everything football, whether he is performing at a Virginia Beach camp or playing in a playoff game. His aggressive attitude matches his aggression on the field, as he has a reputation for being one of the fiercest hitters in the Virginia Beach area.

In his junior season, Gibson, who was named Beach district defensive player of the year for his performance, racked up over 100 tackles including 14 sacks. While his performance and reputation speak volumes, the 5-11, 220-pound Gibson likely needs to perform well in camps in order to get the top 1A offers.

“I feel like I did pretty good,” Gibson said. “I think I came out and did what I was supposed to do.”
