Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA) linebacker Quillie Odom called his official visit experience at Virginia Tech “inexpressible.” The 6-2, 210-pound standout arrived in Blacksburg on Friday and left yesterday, having witnessed Virginia Tech’s 17-0 win over rival Virginia and having enjoyed his time with Tech’s coaches and players.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Odom said of his official visit experience. “I heard Virginia Tech was a wonderful campus, but to see it for myself…it was even better than I thought it would be.

“On Friday night, I ate dinner with all the players. Jahre Cheeseman was my host. Over the weekend, we went out and he showed me the hotspots. He showed me the dorms and told me what he liked best about everything. I had a chance to see the facilities and the classrooms and everything, too. I like the way the classrooms are set up. I just loved everything about it.”
