It has been an up-and-down two weeks for Sumter (SC) offensive lineman Kyle Nunn , who was reportedly a VT commitment, but who then denied it in published reports a few days later. Nunn was quoted yesterday as saying that he has verbaled to the Hokies, making him the latest in a strong group of offensive linemen who have committed to Tech.
Nunn affirmed the commitment to Jim Baxter of SCVarsity.com, a South Carolina high school recruiting web site that is part of the Rivals.com network. Baxter quoted Nunn as saying that he has committed to Tech and citing his comfort level with the school as the major reason.
We are attempting to contact Nunn and will have quotes as soon as we can reach him. TSL is now listing Nunn as a verbal commitment (commitment #16, verbal date 7/27/06).
