Darren Evans almost decided against making the trip to Blacksburg for Virginia Tech senior camp earlier this month. He ultimately decided to make the trip and, as they say, the rest is history. Warren Central’s (Indianapolis, IN) standout running back is now a part of Virginia Tech’s 2007 recruiting class and is happy about it.

“It’s kind of like a blessing that I did decide to go because obviously I wouldn’t be in the position I am now. I’m glad I did go,” Evans said.
