Former Meadowbrook star John Graves led the Monarachs to a Division 5 State Championship in the 2004 season. As a senior in 2005, he earned VHSCA first-team all-state (at OG and DE) and first-team all-metro honors in leading the Monarchs to a Division 6 region championship game appearance. He racked up 65 tackles including 12 tackles-for-loss and nine sacks his senior season. Graves was rated the state’s #5 overall player in the state and a 4-star recruit by Techsideline.com.

Graves plans to enroll at Virginia Tech on July 2nd. He is considering majoring in either Business or Computer Science.
