Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) quarterback Greg Boone made an unofficial visit this past Saturday to the University of Maryland. His one day visit was to see the Temple at Maryland game. Earlier this summer, he attended camp at Maryland.

“It was a great game and it was a live atmosphere,” Boone said. “I liked the atmosphere. I just went up to watch the game. I talked to the Maryland coaches before the game. They just talked to me about their quarterback situation and stuff like that.”

Boone’s next unofficial visit will likely be to an in-state school.

“I’m going to go to Virginia Tech too,” Boone said. “Coach Stinespring came to my first game. I haven’t been to a game there yet. I’ll look at their schedule and see. I’ll probably go and check out Virginia Tech in the next couple of weeks.”
