Antonio North recently became the seventh member of Virginia Tech’s 2005 recruiting class. The 6-4, 300 pound offensive lineman shows the athletic ability and versatily to play anywhere along the offensive line, however he is projected as a guard for Virginia Tech.

I caught up with North last night for some comments on his commitment to Virginia Tech. He chose the Hokies over offers from NC State, UVa, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

First of all, knowing how tough of a decision this was, are you relieved to have made a choice?

“Yeah, it’s a good thing to get off my shoulders.”
