Eddie Royal ‘s official visit schedule took yet another turn last week, when he indicated he would now make an official visit to UVA on the weekend of January 17th. One of the state’s most talented players, the 5-10, 170 pound wide receiver prospect had previously indicated he would visit Tennessee this weekend and would visit UVA in the middle of a week.

The schools have now switched.

“I’ve got UVA this weekend,” Royal said. “Then I have Virginia Tech on the 23rd, Marshall on the 30th, Tennessee during the week sometime, and I might go to Cincinnati also. I know the person who just took the Head Coach job at Cincinnati, so they want me to come up and visit. They offered me already.”

Westfield Head Coach Tom Verbanic and Royal met last week and discussed what would be most important to his star prospect in his final schools. Following the discussion, the Cavaliers were moved to a weekend visit.
