Westfield (Chantilly, VA) wide receiver Eddie Royal may be the most explosive player in the state of Virginia. He demonstrated this earlier this week, when Westfield defeated Hylton 24-14 in the Virginia AAA Division 6 semifinal.
In the game, Royal caught two difficult and long passes of 43 and 52 yards, both of which helped set up touchdowns.
“It was a tough game,” Royal said. “We struggled at first. They have the best defense we’ve seen all year long.”
What makes Royal so good is not just his elusiveness and speed. He spends many hours studying film, which would really help him in the game versus Hylton.
