RB Bell Has Top Three

Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) head coach Richard Bailey aptly describes star running back George Bell as a “genetic freak.” Bell is a chiseled 5-11, 225 pounds. When completely healthy, he can run a 4.4-4.5 in the 40 yard dash. He can bench press 365 pounds.

His physical attributes, combined with an outstanding natural ability to play running back, made Bell one of the top junior prospects in North Carolina last season. In the 4th game of his junior season, he suffered a devastating knee injury, which stole some of the glow from Bell’s bright future.

Bell has been resilient and determined since his injury. He is looking forward to getting back to 100%, which is where he wants to be before he sets foot out on the playing field again.

“Coach Bailey and I have spoken a lot about me coming back and playing,” said Bell, who says his knee is about 80-85% and improving. “I want to come back and play this year, but if I’m not 100%, I don’t want to risk my future. My future is more important than one season.”
