DJ Parker …the other corner for the two-time state champion Phoebus Phantoms. Of course, he is also the quarterback and the leader and perhaps the heart and soul of the two-time state champion Phoebus Phantoms.

The quiet and unassuming Parker became the leader of one of the most talented teams in the state of Virginia during his senior season.

“He is definitely not as vocal as Xavier and Phillip,” said Phoebus assistant coach Stan Sexton. “But I feel he is in the same category as those two. He was the leader of our team this year, and that’s an honorable title to give out on this team.”

Due to necessity, Parker was asked to play the quarterback position early in the year. While quarterback is not his natural position by any means, he did what was best to help the team capture another championship.
